For all of you He-Man (and Star Trek) fans out there, did you know that the He-Man episode, "The Arena," was based on the Star Trek episode of the same name? Yeeup! In the Star Trek episode Kirk is forced by some uber-powerful beings to battle the opposing Gorn captain unarmed. In the He-Man episode, an immensely powerful, yet peaceful, alien being, named Om, pits He-Man against Skeletor after Om visits Eternia and gets attacked by Skeletor.

And, for those of you who thought She-Ra was He-Man's love interest to-be, she is actaully He-Man's long-lost sister! Visions of Luke kissing Leia come to mind. Yeah, as a baby, named Adora, she was kidnapped and raised by the evil Horde leader Hordak. In time, Adora switches sides and fights for the forces of good where she is then granted the Sword of Protection, which is exactly like He-Man's Sword of Power, but completely different. And, just like Prince Adam's sword, Adora's sword also grants her the power to transform into She-Ra. Since Adora is an ardent tree-hugger, she discovers her ability to heal animals after her flying horse, Spirit Wind, gets critically injured ... it hit some power lines or something.
